SSHPANEL SOFTETHER 1.0

Configuring Environment

Once all the preparation is completed. You need to configure the ENVIRONMENT now.

Make sure you still inside SSH on your server as non-root user. In our case is sshpanel user.

Configuring ENVIRONMENT

Go to the directory where the panel file is unzipped.

cd ~/softether

On there, if you run ls command, you will find the ENVIRONMENT file. This is where all of your panel setup automation begin.

This is the content of the ENVIRONMENT file

# If you want to deploy the panel on port other than 80, please specify the port below
APP_PORT=80

This is the line that you need to change in order to setup your panel.

APP_URL=CHANGE_THIS_WITH_YOUR_SERVER_IP_OR_YOUR_DOMAIN
DB_PASSWORD=CHANGE_THIS_WITH_YOUR_SECURE_PASSWORD

Change the value of APP_URL with your server ip address. And the DB_PASSWORD value with the secure password.

This is the final value of my ENVIRONMENT's APP_URL & DB_PASSWORD line that I have been changed.

APP_URL=68.183.238.121
DB_PASSWORD=fU53zNy8a4GD5zVKKc6XFAqHcLjr9L

The rest of the line, you can ignore it.

And 1 more thing. If you want to deploy the panel on port other than 80 the default HTTP, you can change the APP_PORT as well to port number you want.

Done!

The environment setup is complete. Go to next step!
